I’ve been watching the Disney Robin Hood movie today and it is actually quite striking. It appears to take place in some sort of post race, post species society. Robin Hood is the ONLY fox in all of Nottingham besides Maid Marian, yet he manages to constantly fool everyone with the most minimal of disguises. In he most frequently used, he wears a cloak and sunglasses and pretends to be a blind person (fox). And everyone is like OH HELLO BLIND PERSON and then he takes off the sunglasses and cloak and they are like OH MY GOD IT’S ROBIN HOOD BUT WHERE DID THAT BLIND PERSON GO? Is everyone in Nottingham extremely dumb, or am I just racist in thinking that all foxes look alike?
