This is Boomer. He is one of the mascots of the Columbus Blue Jackets, which is a hockey team that no one has ever heard of. It’s in the NHL and everything so that is surprising. The team name is built around the premise that Ohio donated soldiers to the Union army in the Civil War. Big fucking deal, Ohio. Everyone furnished soldiers. And “Blue Jackets” hardly makes me think about the Civil War.
Anyway, Boomer looks like a total sinister creepshow with that mustache and kids don’t care about the Civil War. He is a perfect mascot. OH WAIT. He totally looks like a penis. Boomer is the worst mascot.
